At Mariva Dune we have dedicated ourselves to numerous activities to protect our cultural and environmental heritage.
Examples are: our 0 km vegetable garden, our vineyards and olive groves serving our restaurant, with the aim to reduce the distance between the farm and the table. We also created a local Slow Food community, in order to preserve the violet artichoke of the Val di Cornia, a local species at risk of extinction. Furthermore, we collaborate with virtuous local producers, representing all our region's excellence.
Not only that, on our ecological beach we manage plant biomasses respecting all eco-sustainability criteria and in our natural oasis we take care of the rewilding and thickening of the vegetation with particular dedication.
